Hello, everyone, and welcome back to Krishno Biswas. Today’s Blog will be fascinating because I will show you How to configure Grandstream HT881 Analog FXO Gateway with Grandstream UCM PBX. Grandstream newly launched the HT841/HT881 Analog FXO gateway series, it supports 3 SIP profiles through 1 FXS port and 4/8 FXO ports similarly, it has 2 network ports, one with POE input and built-in network.

firstly connect to the DHCP Network on the HT881 Network Port, then log in to the HT881 device go to Prot Settings->FXS PROFILE, and Modify Local SIP Post from 5060 to 6060. as per the Grandstream document.

After changing to FXS Profile port go to Prot Settings-> FXO Profile 1-> General Settings and Set the Primary SIP Server: 172.31.0.33 (set your server address).
FXO Profile 1->SIP Settings disable SIP registration Set to NO and Change the Local SIP Port 6060 to 5060 and Press Save Button.
after finishing the SIP Settings then go to FXO Profile 1->FXO Termination option Set Number of Rings 2 or you can set it as per your settings. The second option, PSTN Ring Thru FXS we Have to Set it NO.
Also set to Wait for Dial-Tone No and Stage Method set to be 1.
After saving all the changes now I am going to the PORT option. I have UCM PBX and using peer trunk so we are giving off unconditional call forward to VOIP. I have given the User ID, UCM Server IP, and UCM SIP PORT or you can set as per your settings. Now I am going to Save and Apply it.

After the finish FXO port option. Now I am logging in to Grandstream UCM -> VoIP Trunk option and adding a peer SIP Trunk. Giving the provider name as HT881 and Host name as FXO IP address. After saving I am going back to again and enabled Heartbeat detection now I am applying changes.
